North Scottsdale is getting two luxury garage projects at once
Two developers filed plans in the same week for high-end collector garages in North Scottsdale, both within a few minutes of the Airpark.
Key facts
- Toy Barn is planning a 205,000-square-foot project at Mack Innovation Park, with 135 luxury garage condos. It would be the company's largest Arizona location.
- Elite Garages Scottsdale is planned near Loop 101 and Bell Road, with groundbreaking expected in December 2026.
- Both sit in the North Scottsdale employment belt around the Scottsdale Airpark, the second-largest employment center in Arizona.
Garage condos are storage units built for people who collect cars: private bays, climate control, and in the higher-end versions, lounges and lifts. Scottsdale is a logical market for two of them. Barrett-Jackson fills WestWorld every January, the collector-car calendar runs through the winter season, and the North Scottsdale luxury communities that feed both are a short drive from Bell Road. The demand signal here is not new. The scale is: 135 bays in one building is a different order than the single-owner garages tucked into Airpark flex space today.
