Old Town's Summer Spectacular ArtWalk is tonight

The Scottsdale Gallery Association's Gold Palette ArtWalk gets its dressed-up Summer Spectacular edition tonight, with Old Town's galleries open late along Marshall Way.

Key facts:

  • What: The monthly themed Gold Palette version of the year-round Thursday ArtWalk.
  • When: Tonight, starting around 6:30 PM.
  • Where: The Old Town Arts District, centered on Marshall Way.
  • Highlight: Wilde Meyer Gallery at 4142 North Marshall Way hosts a group show with Jeremy Serna, Manny Valenzuela, Michelle Andres, and others, with light refreshments.

The Thursday ArtWalk has anchored Old Town's 100+ galleries since the Arts District first clustered here, and the Gold Palette nights are the themed ones worth building an evening around. July is a quieter month in Old Town once the seasonal crowd thins out, which makes this one more of a neighborhood walk than a tourist crush.
